This Cornish Fisherman’s original oil painting by the famous Cornish artist Harry Barden is absolutely breathtaking. It really draws you in; the colours are moody; what are the people thinking; has the fisherman just come back from a catch; it really makes you ask questions about it. The woman looks like she is taking the fish in to cook and the fisherman is cleaning his boat after a day’s work. We are not sure of it’s age but the frame shows signs of a previous life and there are a couple of marks on the painting which could carefully be removed. It is an absolutely stunning piece of art by a renowned and respected Cornish artist; some of his paintings have gone for over £500; would it go in your home?
