This is a very rare find; one of the earlier James Keiller pots. Made circa 1800s as depicted by the heading above the Wreath; it has the most amazing patina which only age and ware can produce. It is stunningly crazed with discolouration marks and a couple of chips to the rim and a hole in the bottom but these markings only enhance its visual appearance rather than hinder it. These useful pots make great statement pieces; fill with a bunch of dried flowers or just place on a shelf and admire from afar and if you are an avid collector of transferware then this will make a unique addition to your collection; it really is stunning, a real gem.
