These gorgeous rustic ginger jars date from around 1870 and have a lovely patina showing signs of a previous life which adds to their charm.   They were used to import ginger from Asia.  Although they come with lids, we are not sure if they are the original ones or not.    They certainly make them more functional for storage.  They are so versatile; you can use them for a nice bunch of flowers though the smaller one does have a small hole in the side.  You could even use them for your toothbrushes.  Either way, you’re not going to get an identical one as each one is unique which makes them rather special…
