How gorgeous is this antique writer’s box?  It has an amazing patina with mother-of-pearl inlaid and it is possibly rosewood.  Although the inside shows signs of use and repair I think this all adds to its character and charm.  It is a box that has ink stains and knocks but it would look amazing as a decorative piece for styling.  You can also use it for its original purpose for pens, papers, etc. but for me, it is one to display.
