This is a beautiful Victorian jewellery box.  It is a delightful piece of history, particularly as the owner has inscribed their name inside. I wonder who it belonged to – upstairs or down?  Although it does not have a key, it still is a lovely useful box.  You could use it by your bed for storing your jewellery or it can even be used as a stationary box; the list is endless.

The item has undergone a repair on the inside left, which is not noticeable during use.
