Every now and again I find something which I really do want to keep, and this huge rare apothecary jar is such an example.  It is in fabulous condition for its age, with crazing which adds to its character and charm.  The colour is amazing and the label is still in great condition which makes it especially valuable. These jars are so striking and highly collectible especially if they have their original lids which this one does.    In days gone by, they would have adorned the old Apothecary shop shelves filled with herbs and remedies for your ailments.  Today, it would make a beautiful display in a bathroom or kitchen and it has plenty of room for storage.
