Wow, this is a very big vintage stoneware pot which comes with original lid; it really is a beauty and would originally have come from a large country house, hotel or shop.  It does have some chips to the top rim and lid but they really do not detract from how stunning it is.  These stoneware pots make great storage containers or fill with a big bunch of dried flowers; they also make a great display just as it is; it is a rare find.
