This beautiful rare earthenware 2lb James Keiller Marmalade jar has a beautiful patina with crazing and staining which can only be achieved by age and wear.  It does have a repaired crack on the side so is not waterproof.  However, this does not detract from what a beauty it is.    It has a nice dark transfer which stands out.  These pots make great statement pieces and are perfect for storing your everyday items, pens, makeup brushes, or even your toothbrush.  Alternatively, use as a sweet vase for a bunch of dried flowers.
