This is a very rare find; one of the much earlier James Keiller pots which are very scarce so are highly collectible. Made circa the 1800s as depicted by the heading above the Wreath. It is in excellent condition considering its age. It has some discoloration marks, both inside and outside but these markings only enhance its visual appearance rather than hinder it. These useful pots make great statement pieces; fill with a bunch of dried flowers or just place on a shelf and admire from afar and if you are an avid collector of transferware then this will make a unique addition to your collection; it really is stunning, a real gem.
