This is a very rare find; one of the much earlier James Keiller pots which are now very scarce and highly collectible. Made circa the 1800s as depicted by the heading above the Wreath. Although it is badly damaged, it has the most amazing patina; the crazing is fabulous and I actually think the knocks give it extra character and charm. These useful pots make great statement pieces; imagine this one sitting amongst your treasures; it makes a perfect display piece. If you are an avid collector of transferware then this will make a unique addition to your collection; it really is stunning, a real gem.
