VINTAGE CORONATION CUP CANDLES KING GEORGE VI
These lovely vintage coronation cup candles King George VI celebrate the Coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth on 12 May 1937. The patina on them is amazing, with crazing all over and a little chip on the small one. I think that only adds to their character and charm as it shows their age. They are such special pieces and even better as they have been repurposed into lovely fragranced candles. The small one has a picture of Princess Elizabeth on the back which is really sweet; it was obviously made for a child.
As the Jubilee celebrations are getting underway, are you looking for something which will sit comfortably alongside your other memorabilia? If so, be sure to get these vintage coronation cup candles in your basket.
When I make my candles, I only use the finest of ingredients. I like to use soya wax as it is a natural vegetable wax. The beauty of it is that it is so easy to clean once the candle has finished. The fragrances I use are only quality fragrance oils. This means that when you receive an Angela Jayne candle, you know you are getting a luxury product. These are great two-in-one items. Once the candles have finished, you have beautiful vintage cups to use for your tea, just like the Queen! I’ll certainly be getting the flags out for this Jubilee and showing off my own Jubilee candles which actually smell divine!
