Did you know that in German tradition, these dolls are symbols of good luck, frightening away malevolent spirits and I’m not surprised as he does have a bit of a scary face…!  His mouth opens with a lever on the back and he is brightly painted with a nice long sword attached.  He can be left standing or has a loop for hanging on the Christmas tree; he really is a cute decoration…
